From Our Founder
About fifteen years ago, after my step-father died, my 70 year old mother was left to fend for herself. As I visited her on a regular basis, she wanted me to go through and filter her mail and emails. She was very anxious about the legitimacy of many of the communications she received. It robbed her of her peace and I was glad to assist. To my amazement, the onslaughts of scammers, spammers and scoundrels were relentless. So, I quickly established counter-measures, to protect her.
Thankfully, my mother had my brother and I for help but, I began to think, “What do seniors do when they don’t have anyone, local, to help. It was at that point that I decided to become an investment advisor representative for my own Registered Investment Advisory firm (Gratia Financial); I wanted to be a life & financial fiduciary, providing protective services for seniors.

Visits & Calls
One-hour+ visit(s) are made to client’s home (or care facility) to provide *Protective Services that meet client needs. Additionally, they receive 30-minute+ phone call(s) on weeks they not visited.
Using secure online tracking software, client financial activities are monitored for irregularities and fraud. Clients and/or their Powers of Attorney may view the account via remote Cloud access.
Monthly, Bi-Monthly, or Weekly Reports are emailed to update family members or a designated party based on actual visits. Updates from phone calls are by our discretion.
